Asus prepares an EEE DAP based on Android
First EEE DAP of Asus incorporates a version of Windows 7, will be available in December and includes a base transforms that it into a portable one.
Asustek Computer glides to send its first tablet based on Android the next month of March. He will be third tablet of family EEE DAP and will have a price inferior to the 399 dollars, in front of the 499 dollars that iPad with the smaller capacity of storage costs.
At the moment Asustek has a team of about 800 engineers of software working in Android, although essentially for its division of smartphones. Some of these engineers will be transferred to a division for tablets, according to Asus, that has not offered details on EEE DAP based on Android.
First EEE DAP will be available in the market between December and January, will count on a touch screen of twelve inches and its price will go up to around the 1,000 dollars. A price that is justified to incorporate a base that transforms tablet into a portable one.

The device, whose official name is EEE DAP EP121, will include the operating system Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium and an Intel processor the 2 Cores Pair.
In addition, Asustek glides to send a second EEE DAP in January, tablet with a touch screen of ten inches that will not include station bases, will use a processor of ARM, Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 and will have a price among 399 and 499 dollars.
